About.

Originally from a town called Newton Le Willows in the North West of England I moved to London many years ago primarily due to the availability of work around my home town. It took a good few years to get accustomed to life in London but once that happened I knew I would stay put. My guitar playing started at an early age and I was introduced by my family to the music of Johann Strauss, Gene Pitney, Roy Orbison, The Carpenters, Sweet, Mud, Buddy Holly, Queen, Johnny Cash, The Beatles (of course).....the list goes on, and of course anything on Top Of The Pops.

What this really gave me though was a very wide and much varied appreciation of most genre of music. In my mid teens I discovered punk rock and was sold watching many of the bands live of that era. My first experience of playing in a band setup was also around this time, playing live and recording a demo at the ago of 16 in the local Catholic Club.

Whilst in the 6th Form I was in a number of bands playing a real mix of rock, pop, and alternative songs often to the whole school of over 1000 people. Great experience and a very appreciative audience ! My career of 23 years in IT was cut short by a health issue requiring numerous surgical procedures so that inspired me to explore my real passion - music !

Over the past decade I've been in a number of duos, and also rehearsed with my own band although became quite disillusioned with the commitment levels of some people so decided that I would 'do my own thing' and here I am.  I'm available for all types of events 7 days / week during the day and night time so please call to discuss any requirements or with any queries / questions in general with regards to your event. I look forward to your contact.
